How to Remove and Replace a Piston in an Engine on 2006 Dodge Ram 1500?

In order to substitute the piston, leave the battery connected, disconnect the oil pan, cylinder head covers, and cylinder heads. A ridge reamer may be required, and then pistons and connecting rods must be removed, marked. Wipe-out abrasive components, check damaged parts and fit new piston rings. Install and re-install the engine with proper specifications of installation and torque.
