How to Remove and Replace an Axle Shaft on a 11 1/2 AA Rear Axle on 2006 Dodge Ram 2500?

To replace the rear axle (11 1/2 AA), make sure the vehicle is in the neutral position on a hoist. Remove brake components, mark propeller shaft and remove shock absorbers and U-bolts. Install new axle, tighten U-Bolts and Shock Absorbers, reinstall brakes, align prop shaft and fill differential.
