How to Service and Repair a Front Engine Mount on a 2WD on 2006 Dodge Ram 3500?

Prior to servicing the front engine mount in a 2WD car, disconnect the negative battery cable and raise it. First, remove the engine mount from the vehicle with bolts and use engine support fixture special tool #8534 to elevate the engine. After that, unscrew the engine mount to insulator bolts (1) and pull the insulator (2) away from the engine. While installing, place the insulator (2) onto the engine and then glue the mount to the engine block with Mopar Lock and Seal Adhesive, Medium Strength Threadlocker on the left engine bracket to front axle bolts. After installing the mount, place all mounting bolts in place and tighten them to the specified 61 Nm. With engine support fixture special tool #8534, lower the engine until it drops. After that, fit the mount with bolts and tighten them to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.) on both sides. After that, lower the jack stand and attach the negative battery cable.
