How to Service an Exhaust Heat Shield on 2006 Dodge Ram 3500?

In order to maintain the heat shield, lift the vehicle and unattach it with the securing nuts or bolts. Slide the shield out and then replace it by sliding it back and attaching the nuts or bolts to a tight of 11 Nm (100 inch lbs.), then drop the vehicle.
