2006 Dodge Ram 3500 PCV Valve Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install a PCV Valve in the Intake Manifold on 2006 Dodge Ram 3500?
A: The intake manifold is where you will find the PCV valve installed to the right rear of the throttle body. The gate is sealed to the intake manifold with 2 O-rings. To take out the PCV valve, rotate it 90 degrees counter-clockwise and then pull straight up on the valve. Have someone test the valve O-rings after removal to make sure they're still in good condition. To install, get rid of any buildup in the intake manifold and examine the state of the 2 O-rings on the PCV valve. Once you've applied engine oil to the O-rings, turn the PCV valve 90 degrees clockwise and push it into the rubber housing of the intake manifold.
