How to Service a Cruise Control Switch on 2006 Jeep Commander?

To service the cruise control switch, turn the negative battery cable off and wait 2 minutes. Remove the air bag module, unplug the connector and remove the speed control switch. Reinstall the switch, re-connect the connector, and re-install the air bag module and then reconnect the battery cable.
