To remove and repair the fuel injector, the fuel rail should then first be removed and the clips holding the fuel injectors to the fuel rail be detached. Then, insert the fuel injectors in the fuel rail assembly and put the retaining clips. In the event that reinstalled injectors are being used, then new O-rings should be installed and a little bit of clean engine oil should also be used on each of the injector O-rings to provide ease of installation. Lastly, put back the fuel rail, fire up the engine and see any signs of fuel leakage.
