How to Replace a Headlight Bulb for Both Low and High Beams on 2006 Jeep Commander?

In order to replace headlamp bulbs, remove a battery negative cable. Take off pigtail and lamp cover. Counterclockwise rotation of the bulb base unlocks and then the bulb base can be pulled out. To install, ensure that you use the right bulb and position and adjust it clockwise to lock. Reconnect battery and pigtail cable.
