How to service a Door Jamb Switch on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?

To service door switch, unscrew battery negative cable after which wait two minutes. Unscrew the switch, door, and unscrew the wire harness. Install the switch once again, reconnect the harness and make sure that it clips in place. Turn the switch by closing the door, and reconnecting the battery and testing.
