2006 Jeep Wrangler Wiper Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace a Wiper Switch for the Rear Windshield on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?
A: First, cut off the negative battery cable and wait for two minutes to deactivate the supplemental restraint system, if it's available on your vehicle before moving on with the replacement. Start the process by getting rid of the accessory switch bezel from the dashboard. Use a trim stick or a wide flat tool to lift the tabs holding the rear wiper and washer on the back accessory switch bezel and then pull the switch out of its place. Put the new rear wiper and washer switch in the correct spot and press it in gently until all of the snap features are secure by the latch tabs. After that, connect the ground lead to the battery, then install the accessory switch bezel on the dashboard.
