How to Service a Fuel Tank Skid Plate on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?

To service the fuel tank skid plate, to support the skid plate, to remove protective caps and to release the skid plate from the straps. Support the fuel tank then reinstall the skid plate, securing it with nuts tightened to given torque. Finally, put on the protective caps and take the support off.
