How to Maintain a Thermostat for Engine Coolant on 2006 Jeep Wrangler?

In order to service engine coolant thermostat, drain the coolant, disconnect hoses, and remove temperature sensor. Install a new gasket, replace the thermostat, and make sure that it is properly oriented. Close up the housing bolts, reconnect the hoses, and also observe the leaks after filling the cooling system. Adhere to torque requirements in each connection.
