To do this, first use the wiper arm to lift the blade and wiper element from the glass. Depress the tab on the release set and pull the blade away from the end of the arm where the hook is found until the pivot block comes loose. On the bottom of the wiper blade, insert the hook formation into the opening a bit ahead of the wiper blade release/pivot point, but don't let the spring release yet since it might scratch the glass. Lightly place the wiper blade onto the window. Unhook the front wiper arm from the glass and place the front wiper blade close to the point where the hook is, facing the blade's flexor notched end towards the arm pivot. Put the hook formation through the wiper blade base ahead of the pivot block, then keep inserting it until the pivot block arms reach the hook. Hold the wiper blade pivot block/latch handle as you guide the wiper blade pivot block/latch up to its hook and pull on the latch release tab to hear it lock into position. Gently set the wiper blade down onto the windshield.
