How to Service and Repair the EGR Valve on a 2.7L Engine on 2007 Chrysler 300?

To check the EGR valve on a 2.7L engine, remove the negative battery cable, and shift the purge solenoid, as well as the electrical connector of the EGR valve. Unscrew the bolts that hold the upper and the lower tubes and loosen the EGR valve. Wipe off the surface onto which it was mounted before re-mounting.
