How to Maintain and Fix a Liftgate Hinge on 2007 Chrysler 300?

Before handling the hinge, open the deck lid and prop it up with an appropriate prop. After that, take out the support cylinder from the deck lid hinge and mark the place on the deck lid inner panel where the upper hinge bracket will go when you reinstall. After that, unscrew the two hinge screws from the deck lid and make a mark on the deck lid opening where the lower hinge bracket will be. Then, unscrew the three posts holding the deck lid hinge against the drain trough and bring the hinges out of the vehicle securely.
