You should put the lower bracket of the deck lid hinge into the drain trough on the vehicle as the first step. After that, set the three screws holding the hinge to the drain trough at a torque of 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). After that, fit the deck lid to the hinge on the vehicle and put in and tighten the two screws that attach the hinge to the lid down to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Lift the support cylinder into position at the end of the deck lid hinge, remove the support fixture and then close the deck lid. Adjust the deck lid hinge up or down to achieve proper room and functioning.
