How to Detach a Drive Shaft on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?

First, park the car in neutral and lift it using a hoist so that you can access the drive/propeller shaft. Make a reference line by connecting the pinion flange to the propeller shaft flange. After that, take out the pinion flange bolts from the propeller shaft flange. Take the propeller shaft off the output of the automatic transmission/transfer case and then mark both pieces so you can line them up properly for installation. The last step is to take the propeller shaft out of the vehicle. Make sure to follow the guidance in the manual to prevent driveline vibration.
