How to Correctly Install a Drive Shaft on 2008 Chrysler Aspen?

Ensure the reference lines of the propeller shaft are even with those on the automatic transmission/transfer case before sliding it onto the output shaft. After that, match the reference marks found on the propeller shaft flange with those on the pinion flange. Put in new companion flange bolts and tighten them to 85 ft. lb./115 Nm. If you don't have special bolts, wash and treat the existing ones by coating the threads with Mopar Lock & Seal Adhesive or an alternative product. If you do not follow these directions, you risk the driveline vibrating.
