How to Service and Repair an EGR Tube on 2007 Chrysler Crossfire?

Start by taking out the air cleaner housing before trying any service or repair to the EGR tube. Later, remove the EGR tube mounting bolts at the intake manifold and then take out the EGR tube flange nut at the EGR valve. When the EGR tube is removed, scrub any dirt from the gasket parts on both the EGR and intake manifold and throw away the old gasket. If loose dirt makes its way between the tube and manifold, vacuum leakage may take place and both the idle and the vacuum may weaken.
