Beginservice and repairofthe idler arm on a left-hand drive vehicle by first removing the drag link (3) from the idler arm (4). Remove the heat shield (2) after that and then unscrew the bolt (10) to take the idler arm (4) off your vehicle. Using the pinch-bolt, remove the idler arm (4) from the bushing to allow thrust bearing replacement. After that, check the idler arm bushing and replace it when needed.
