To replace the valve, remove the cylinder head and compress it the valve springs using Tool C-3422-D and adapter 8464. Remove the valve retaining locks, and then the valve spring retainer, spring, and stem seal. Remove burrs from valve stem lock grooves and mark valves for proper re-installation.
