2007 Chrysler Pacifica Oil Pan Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install an Oil Pan on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Prepare the surface where the parts join by cleaning it and putting a 1/8 inch of Mopar(R) Engine RTV GEN II sealant on the rim joining the chain case cover and the rear seal retainer. After that, install the new pan gasket onto the oil pan. Remove the oil drain tubes, insert the oil pan, then secure it with all fasteners at 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.). Following that, attach the flex plate cover, then the right engine mount bracket. If your car has an in block heater, install it and mount the proper heat shield for the engine. Place the car lower to install the oil level indicator. After that, link the negative terminal to the battery and fill the crankcase with oil to its proper level.
