2007 Chrysler Pacifica Torque Converter Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Torque Converter on 2007 Chrysler Pacifica?
A: Before working on the torque converter, first take out the transmission and torque converter. Attach a drain pan under the housing end of the transmission, ensuring it is in place, as the center of gravity will move when the torque converter is taken out and this will make it harder to keep it safe on the lift or work surface. Keep in mind, the torque converter is very heavy. Pull the torque converter forward until you can see the center hub clearing the oil pump seal, at which point pull it away from the transmission.
