2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Car Speakers Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove Car Speakers from the Front, Instrument Panel, and Rear on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: First cut off the battery ground cable, disconnect it, then remove the front door trim panel and finally the screws securing the speaker. After that, pull out the speaker and unplug the wire harness connector. First, turn off the car, disconnect and isolate your battery's negative terminal, then take off the instrument panel cover and unscrew the speaker. After that, unconnect the wire harness and take off the speaker. Disconnect the battery negative cable, cut back the trim, undo the fasteners and remove the rear radio from its spot. As the last thing to do, disconnect the electrical harness connector and take out the speaker. For the rear speaker in a sedan, unhook and separate the car's negative battery cable, eliminate the side pillar trim and take out the retaining screws. Afterwards, take out the speaker and pull the wire harness connector off.
