How to Service a Camshaft Position Sensor on 3.3/3.8L Engines on 2007 Chrysler Town & Country?

Before you start on the camshaft position sensor, the negative battery cable should be removed first. After that, take out the air box cover and inlet tube. Remove the electrical connector from the wiring harness connector for the camshaft position sensor. First, remove the holding bolt and then swing the sensor out of the chain case and pull it up above, making sure not to touch the wires. The O-ring on the sensor body may make taking it off difficult; if you hit the top of the sensor with a light tap before taking it off, it might become easier.
