2007 Chrysler Town & Country Starter Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Starter Motor for a 3.3/3.8L Engine on 2007 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: Start the 3.3/3.8L engine starter repair or service by opening the hood which you do by releasing its latch. Remove and separate the car's battery negative cable and then suspend the car at both ends using proper safety stands. Take off the nut that is holding the B+ terminal to the starter solenoid. After that, take out the solenoid connector from the starter and unbolt the starter from the transaxle bellhousing. Following that, remove the starter from the bellhousing and separate the spacer attached to the transaxle bellhousing from it.
