Before installing the starter motor for the 3.3/3.8L engine, place the starter spacer, flange outwards, on the transaxle bellhousing. Then, put your starter on your bellhousing and then snap it on with bolts and your ground wire, as well. The starter solenoid B+ terminal must be connected to the solenoid connector and backed up with a nut that holds the B+ terminal to the starter solenoid. Lower the vehicle, connect the negative battery cable and check that the starter works.
