2007 Dodge Caliber Exhaust Manifold Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove and Replace an Exhaust Manifold on 2007 Dodge Caliber?
A: To change the exhaust manifold, first install a brand new gasket without using sealer. Secure the exhaust manifold bolts to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.) first and then attach the heat shields with 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.), tightening their bolts. Following this, put in the new support bracket for the exhaust manifold and the new gasket for the catalytic converter. Join the exhaust pipe to the manifold by installing the fasteners so that they are torqued to 28 Nm (250 in. lbs.). Connect the oxygen sensor and the negative cable to the battery and then place the engine cover.
