2007 Dodge Caliber Sway Bar Kit Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Sway Bar Kit on an All-Wheel-Drive on 2007 Dodge Caliber?
A: If you have cushion inserts, slide one onto each side of the sway bar kit, with the slits lined up with the bar. If your vehicle is all-wheel-drive, guide the bar under the axle half shafts when you install it. After that, secure the sway bar kit on the crossmember in the rear part of the vehicle. Set the two retainers on the cushions where the mounting holes are and use the retainer screws to keep them in place, but don't tighten them yet. If you have all-wheel-drive, put in the rear driveline module. Align an upper stud from the sway bar link with each end of the sway bar kit on the vehicle, insert it and attach it with a nut by tightening the nut to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.), while maintaining stability of the stud. Make sure to make it firm by tightening the cushion retainer screws to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.) before removing the car.
