Set the vehicle low and fasten the two nuts 1 connecting the shock assembly 2 to the body bracket 3 using 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.). After the rear trim panel is installed inside, roll the vehicle onto an alignment rack or drive-on lift and raise it as needed to get to bolt 1 and nut 3. Lastly, turn the bolt nut 3 located on the shock assembly's lower mounting bolt to 3-99 Nm (73 ft. lbs.).
