2007 Dodge Caravan A/C Condenser Parts and Q&A
Q: How to replace an A/C condenser in 2.4L, 3.3L, or 3.8L engines on 2007 Dodge Caravan?
A: Pour 50 milliliters (1.7 fluid ounces) of the refrigerant oil into the refrigerant system before you replace the condenser in any 2.4L, 3.3L or 3.8L engine. See that all air and seals inside the system are put back properly for correct A/C and engine cooling. Place the A/C condenser into the engine compartment and guide it straight to the radiator, so the lower mounting brackets engage. Secure the upper A/C condenser mounting brackets onto the radiator, making sure that the upper retaining clips snap in place. Take off any tape or seals on the opened refrigerant line openings and condenser, then join the A/C discharge line and A/C liquid line to the A/C condenser. Link the transmission oil cooler lines to the quick-connect fittings on the transmission cooler tapping block and make sure they're properly secured. Attach the front fascia, remove all refrigerant from the car and refill it with correct refrigerant.
