2007 Dodge Caravan Heater Core Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service a Heater Core on 2007 Dodge Caravan?
A: The first thing to do when servicing the heater core is disconnect the negative battery cable. After that, remove the rear HVAC housing and set it on your workbench. After that, remove the screw holding the rear heater core tube bracket to the rear HVAC housing. Lift both of the retaining tabs right next to where the rear heater core is held in the rear HVAC housing and gently pull out the rear heater core from the rear of the housing. Damaged or misshapen foam seals in the heater core require a replacement. Keep in mind that the heater core tubes are part of the rear heater core, should not be touched and relocating them can easily release hot coolant and pose a danger to you or someone else.
