How to Properly Remove and Service a Front Crankshaft Seal on 2007 Dodge Caravan?

The first step to it service and repair the front crankshaft seal is to remove both the crankshaft vibration damper and the timing belt. Now, attach Special Tool 6793 to the engine and guide C-4685-C2 around the sprocket until it is loose. Be sure not to scratch either the seal surface or the seal bore while removing it. Use Tool 6771 afterward to replace the front crankshaft oil seal. Take care not to harm the seal surface on the cover.
