How to Remove and Repair a Rear Door Latch Assembly on 2007 Dodge Dakota?

Make sure to remove the trim panel before dealing with the rear door latch. After that, unscrew the screws and take the door handle off the door. Take the upper cable off and remove it from the door handle. Lift off the push pin hangers from the door and take out the connecting cable. After that, unscrew the four bolts and extract the latch assembly out of the door.
