How to Maintain a Seat Switch on 2007 Dodge Dakota?

To service the power seat switch, disconnect the battery negative cable. Remove the recliner lever screw, then the screws securing the seat cushion side shield. Unplug the power seat switch connector, remove the side shield and switch as a unit, and finally detach the switch from the side shield.
