2007 Dodge Grand Caravan Parking Brake Cable Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install the Right-Side Parking Brake Cable on 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan?
A: Position the rear parking brake cable securely in the brake support plate and press the cable retainer's fingers in till they click, as this locks them. After that, attach the parking brake cable to the parking brake actuator lever and put the brake shoes onto the plate that supports the rear brakes. Insert the cable housing retainer into the body outrigger bracket, being sure it does not move. Attach the rear parking brake cable to the part of the intermediate cable that connects the front with the rear. After that, slide in the brake drum and follow it with the wheel and tire. Take out the locking pliers from the front park brake cable so that the park brake cables adjust automatically. With the vehicle low, step on the park brake pedal, release it once and perform this action at least three times.
