    A: To facilitate maintenance of the Coolant Temperature Sensor in a 5.7L engine, partially drainage of the cooling system to avoid injury. Take off accessory drive belt and do not disconnect hoses, unbolt the air conditioning compressor. Bear down with the compressor and undress the electrical connector of the sensor and detach the sensor off the cylinder block.
