First, raise and prop up the vehicle, remove the tire and ensure that the brake hose is not supporting the caliper adapter as you take off the wheel assembly. Then, separated the caliper from the steering knuckle and get rid of the caliper adapter assembly. Cut off the extension on the HD DRW rotor nuts and then slide the rotor off the hub/bearing wheel studs.
