2007 Dodge Ram 3500 Parking Brake Cable Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Front Parking Brake Cable for Front on 2007 Dodge Ram 3500?
A: You should first lift the front of the car and support it on jacks, then lockout the parking brake cable. Rotate the adjusting nut to relaxed the cable and remove the front cable from its connector. With the underbody bracket held in place, squeeze the cable end fitting and remove the cable after that. Run the screwdriver through the hole on the cable's ball end and pull the cable out of the pedal clevis, then press the end of the cable into the bracket to remove it. After that, take out the left cowl trim and sill plate, lift the carpet up and separate the cable from the body clip. After pushing the hose tube up, use the cable to remove it with the body grommet as well.
