How to Install a Muffler on a 3.5L Engine on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

Set the muffler into the isolators and tailpipe and link it with the bolts onto the catalytic converter, but don't tighten the bolts yet. After that, fit the muffler onto the tailpipe clamp and check that they are correctly positioned and have at least 25mm (1 inch) space between them. Use 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) to tighten the clutch clamp bolt and the flange nut as well. After you are finished with the lift, put the negative battery cable back on, fire up the engine and check for any leaks around the exhaust.
