How to Maintain and Fix a Muffler on a 3.5L Engine on 2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500?

Before you work on the muffler of a 3.5L vehicle, remove the negative battery cable and raise and support the car. After that, use heat valve lubricant to coat the bolts and nuts, then set them aside for 5 minutes. Once you've removed the front of the car, grab the flange bolt to unbolt the muffler from the catalytic converter first. After that, unscrew the connections between the muffler and the tailpipe and take the muffler out of the isolators.
