First, to service the inner tie rod end, take out the outer tie rod end and remember the number of turns you made to adjust the toe later. After that, take off the jam nut and remove the clamps from the inner tie rod boot. To give you enough room for the tool, loosen the bolts holding the stabilizer bracket clamp to the frame and move the bar to the back of the car. You may need # 10087-1 or # 10087-4 socket, together with # 10087-2 Tube, to take out the inner tie rod end.
