How to Service and Repair the Left Exhaust Manifold on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

Before servicing or repairing the left exhaust manifold, first get rid of the old gasket and clean both the surface in the cylinder head and the manifold. Once done, place a new gasket between the exhaust manifold and cylinder head, add nuts and tighten them at 25 Nm (222 in. lbs.). Following this, install the exhaust elbow onto the turbocharger bolts, apply 20 Nm (177 in. lbs.) of torque and then give them a quarter turn. Once done, fit the turbocharger heat shield, tighten it with 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.) and then place the engine cover. In the end, reattach the negative battery cable.
