How to Maintain and Fix a Water Pump on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

For water pump repairs or service, first unplug the negative battery cable and drain some coolant. Remove the housing for the air cleaner from the engine compartment now. Take out the wire harness couple from the electric coolant pump and loosen the hose clamps as well. Remove each heater hose from the electric coolant pump by twisting them and then take the pump from its bracket.
