  A: To handle and fix the cruise control switch, first make sure you don't place a non-deployed air bag down where it could accidentally deploy and injure you. Isolate the battery's negative cable so the front air bag system is disabled and leave the front air bag system capacitor to discharge for two minutes before going any further. Straighten the wheels with the steering wheel, remove the negative battery cable and finally turn off the ignition. After that, take out the air bag, disconnect the connector from the Clock Spring and get rid of the three fasteners. Get rid of the horn, then pop out the screws on the speed control switches, disconnect the wire link and take out the switch.
