How to install a door lock cylinder on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The first step is to fit the lock cylinder 2 into the space on the back of the handle 1 located on the driver side exterior door. Without leaving the trigger, apply some pressure to the back end of the cylinder in case it moves up or around in the handle. Then adjust the front of the lock cylinder so that the two screw holes on the housing meet up with the holes on the door handle. After that, secure exterior door handle 1 to the outside of the driver side front door.
