2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuse Box Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Fuse Box on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: Disconnect and block the battery negative cable to turn off the air bag system and wait two minutes for the capacitor to discharge before fixing the fuse box. First, remove the top edge of the covering by pushing it up to break the clips and then remove the screw that is attached below. Following that, unplug the JB connectors on the bottom sides and then go to the back of the unit to unplug the JB on top. Unscrew the screws that have the JB securely connected and then lift the two snap clips free from the top of the JB to release it. Press the top of the junction block upward so it will slide out of the bracket and the lower tabs will be released. After that, loosen the JB by lowering it out of the hole under the instrument panel.
