2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Parking Assist Distance Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain the Parking Assist Distance Sensor on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: Begin by isolating the battery's negative cable to properly service the Parking Assist Distance Sensor. After that, take the bumper fascia off from the front of your car. At the rear of the fascia, remove the wire harness from the park assist sensor connector receptacle. Raise the sensor a little so you can lift the latch parts out of the top and bottom tabs. Then, carefully unhook the O-ring spacer from carefully around the sensor membrane bump. Only the sensor brackets are bonded to the back of the front bumper fascia; the park assist sensors and their spacers may be serviced separately.
