2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Seat Belt Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Front Seat Belt on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: Adjust the front seat so it is at its most forward position to reach the front seat belt lower anchor cover more easily. Pull the upper edge of the lower anchor cover up to unsnap it from the front cushion outboard side shield. Take out the screw holding the lower anchor to the front seat cushion's outboard side. Take the lower part of the trim cover found on the upper B-pillar's inside and firmly pull it out of the height adjuster, afterward lift the bottom edge up while pulling outwards to remove the upper tabs. Take off the screw that holds the seat belt turning loop onto the height adjuster and then remove the turning loop. After that, take off the top trim inside the B-pillar and unsnap and remove the cover above the seat belt opening in the B-pillar trim. Takare off the trim on the lower B-pillar and push the front seat belt turning loop and lower anchor through the seat belt opening in that piece. Afterwards, remove the lower bracket screw that holds the retractor to the base of the inner B-pillar and take them both and the seat belt out of the vehicle all together.
