How to Install a Cigarette Lighter Auxiliary Power Outlet on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

Attach the connector from the instrument panel wire harness to the connector at the base of the cigarette lighter first. After that, fit the cigarette lighter mount into the instrument panel, matching up the splines on the outside of the placeholder with the grooves on the mount. Press down hard on the base of the cigarette lighter receptacle until the mount's retaining bosses are clicked into place. After that, insert the cigarette lighter knob and element into the cigarette lighter receptacle base or push the protective cap into the cigarette lighter receptacle base. In the end, reattach the battery's negative cable.
